Layoff Support

Layoff Support

At Geseron Employment Consulting Ltd. (GEC Ltd.), we understand that layoffs are sometimes necessary for the future of an organization. While the decision itself may be unavoidable, employers can still choose how to support people through it.

For those affected, a layoff can disrupt far more than income. It can create uncertainty, shake confidence, disrupt routines, and leave individuals unsure what to do next. Meaningful career transition support provides structure during that uncertainty, helping people recognize the value of their experience, identify realistic opportunities, and prepare for today’s labour market, while moving forward with a clear plan.

Providing this support also sends an important message to remaining employees: even during difficult business decisions, people continue to be treated with care and respect.

How an organization manages a layoff can influence employee trust, workplace morale, future recruitment, and how current and former employees remember the organization. Including GEC Ltd.’s career transition services in a layoff package allows employers to meaningfully support those affected while protecting the relationships, culture, and reputation they have worked hard to build.

Comprehensive Career Transition Support

Losing a job can create uncertainty about what comes next. Our layoff support services provide departing employees with practical, personalized guidance to help them navigate the transition, regain direction, and move forward with confidence. Support is tailored to each individual’s experience, circumstances, and career goals, helping them prepare for, pursue, and successfully transition into their next opportunity.

Our Layoff Support Package includes:

Facilitated Labour Market Preparation
